The things we refuse to let go of. Parts of us held in place, while the rest is ready to grow and transform.
The blue form represents the self, the sphere in the middle represents the soul, and surrounding that soul are a handful of feelings I wanted to convey.
The inflated bit at the "rear" of the sculpture represents that feeling of when you're ready to expand but feel trapped in your own beliefs. A breaking point is reached and that expansion must be realized or else you will deflate and refuse to grow. The red noodle on top is being held down by things that no longer serve it, similar to how we rely on people or objects and must let them go. The green portion draped over the sides represents the feeling when things are about to slip, when you're just holding on for dear life. At the bottom there are a few threads that can get crossed and trip us up if we aren't discerning with our attention. These can be anything from relationships, to drugs, to media.
